I posted my wiki on the mcisd site. http://blackhill.wikispaces.com/

Thing 13

Okay this isn't going well. I just talked to technology again and they said the flickr problem is on their end not ours. I can't create an account therefore I can use picnik because I loaded my picture and edited it however I can't import it because I don't have a flickr account.

Check out this SlideShare Presentation:

try, try again

I hope I can get this done in time! Between being blocked from most things at school and having technical difficulties myself I am not sure I'll get my credit. Let's hope I do or I won't be happy for wasting all this time and aggrivation.
I think I did it, let's see.

Thing 12

I am going to have to try flickr.com again because the page won't display. Technical difficulties, not mine!
I can see the uses for this, it's a lot like shutterfly (chich I use) but it has more apps. Like being able to tag your photos and just search photos by their tags, nice idea. I will have to play more with it after the class is over.

Thing 11

I am trying to get slide share to here, I can't figure it out. I did get it on my facebook, easy! I don't know if I have a wiki site, I do have a pbwiki, which looks totally different then his demonstration. I really don'
t like this.

Well I set up a Google Document. I have heard about this several times but had never tried it. I think it has great possibilities. I think it would work more for upper elementary, middle, and high schiool. In this program you can access and work on a document from anycomputer without having to save it to a flash drive. There are many benefits to Google Doc's, including but not limited to;
Promote group collaboration
Keep track of grades, attendance, or any other data
Facilitate writing as a process by encouraging students to write in a document shared with you
Create quizzes and tests using spreadsheets forms
Encourage collaborative presentation skills by asking your students to work together on a shared presentation
Maintain, update and share lesson plans
It's definetly worth the second look!
